I am new to off-campus housing. Can you tell me a little about it?

The full college experience is available just steps away from the St. Louis University at Icon Student Spaces. Our convenient and central location also makes us an ideal housing provider for students attending Harris Stowe University and Washington University. Icon Student Spaces has undergone a multimillion dollar renovation, but we are still committed to offering the most value for our students by meeting various housing needs with flexible leasing options and a wide array of amenities. All floor plans are available to lease privately, or you can utilize our free roommate matching services and lease for less. Your individual liability lease will include access to all our community areas such as our 24-hour fitness facility, Think Tanks, Technology Center that features iMacs, PCs and FREE printing. We also have newly renovated amenities such as our Meditation Room, Cinema, Game Room, and a Bike Share program! Take a break from your studies and hang out in our Courtyard with BBQ grills and yard games or join us for our weekly resident events with our friendly on-site team!

How far is the property from campus?

 

Do you have to be a student?

No! In fact, with its convenient location to I64, I55, and I70 we are an ideal location for anyone! We have residents that attend St. Louis University, Harris Stowe University, and Washington University.

Do you have a bus stop and how often does it run?

Ride the Metro! We are just a few steps from St. Louis University and Harris Stowe University, so depending on which school you are attending, a bus may not be necessary. For schedules and maps for the Metro St. Louis bus please go to their website https://www.metrostlouis.org/metrolink/. There is also a shuttle service offered directly through St. Louis University called Billiken Shuttle service. I do not have any roommates in mind. Do you offer roommate matching?

Absolutely! Every student is unique, so during the leasing process we utilize our state-of-the-art roommate matching software that knows just the right questions to ensure the best matches possible.

What is included in the rent?

All of our studio, one, two, three and four bedroom apartment homes come with all utilities including electricity, water, sewage, trash, internet, and cable! On-site parking is available in our heated underground parking garage for a nominal cost to our residents.

Do you offer furniture?

Yes, each unit is fully furnished with modern selections! Furnished units include a full-size bed frame with mattress, dresser, night stand, desk, and chair. Each living rooms is equipped with a leather couch, chair, end table, dining room set, entertainment center, coffee table and 42” Flat Screen TV!

Do you allow pets?

Yes, pets are permitted at our community! We even have a Bark Park with an obstacle course for your furry friends to play! All pets must be registered prior to entering the community. There is a one-time Pet Fee of $300 and $20 per month in Pet Rent due for each animal at the community. Additionally, our community has a 2-pet maximum per apartment.

What safety measurements are in place?

We want to do everything we can to ensure that you have a safe living environment. A key card is required to gain access to the buildings, parking garage, main lobby as well as all amenities. We also employ a roving security officer in the evenings. We encourage all of our residents to report any suspicious activity to our security team and as always dial 911 for emergencies.

How do I pay the rent?

Rent is due on the 1st day of each month. We have an easy online payment system that allows you to pay any time of the day. You never have to worry about late fees if you opt into our automatic withdrawal option. You are also more than welcome to pay by check or money order in the office during regular business hours.

Can I pay up front?

Yes! You may also pay by semester.

Do you provide on-site maintenance? How do we report any maintenance related issues?

Yes, we do have on-site maintenance. Our online Resident Portal makes it easy to submit work requests online directly to our office staff. Our maintenance staff is great at quickly responding to our residents’ needs! You will know when your work is completed via email by receiving a satisfaction survey. We love to hear the opinions of our residents so that we can continually improve our services.

I am ready to live here! What is the first step?

Great! We look forward to having you! We ask that the resident fills out an online application. It only takes 15-20 minutes! If you are signing with a guarantor, they may also complete their portion of the application at the same time. It’s that easy!
