Our premium apartment options are modern, meticulously maintained, and set in a prime location—so when it comes to your college student’s home base, you can rest easy.

  Do you have to be a student?

No! With our convenient location near all things St. Louis, The Icon is the ideal location for anyone!

  How far is the community from campus?

St. Louis University is less than 1/4 mile from The Icon and Harris Stowe is only half a mile away!

  Is the community close to public transit options?

St. Louis Metro Bus stop #4136 is located directly in front of the community! You can find more information, schedules, and maps at www.metrostlouis.org. Additionally, we are just a few steps from St. Louis University and Harris Stowe University, so a bus may not even be necessary!

  What is included in the rent?

Our pricing includes monthly rent, cable, internet, water, sewer, and trash. We also issue a $99 laundry card to use at our three onsite laundry facilities. We provide a new laundry card every 6 months!

  Do you offer furniture?

Our apartment homes are fully furnished with modern selections! Furnished units include a full-size bed frame with mattress, drawer storage, desk, and chair in the bedrooms. Furnished floor plans also come with a couch, chair, dining room set, entertainment center including flat screen TV, and coffee table in the common areas.

  Do you allow pets?

Yes, we do! All pets must be registered prior to entering the community. There is a one-time Pet Fee of $300 and a monthly Pet Rent Fee of $25 due for each animal at the community. There is a 2-pet maximum per apartment. Additionally, we do have some breed restrictions, so please reach out to our onsite team for more information. Small, caged animals are also welcome and do not require a pet fee or rent.

  What safety measurements are in place?

We want to do everything we can to ensure that you experience a comfortable living environment. We encourage all residents to report any suspicious activity to us and as always, dial 911 for emergencies. A key fob is required to gain access to the buildings, attached parking garage, main lobby, and amenities. We have an after-hours courtesy patrol on site Thursday - Sunday that can be reached by dialing 314-300-9434.

  What tour types do you offer?

The Icon offers virtual, self-guided, and in-person tours! Our virtual tours allow you to experience The Icon no matter where you are! If you’d like an in-person community tour, one of our Leasing Agents can take you on a personalized tour of our apartment homes and amenities. Contact us today and we'll be happy to set you up with your desired tour type!

  Is renters insurance required?

Yes, our community requires each resident to have an active renters insurance policy throughout the duration of their lease. We require a minimum of $100,000 in general liability coverage and recommend personal property insurance. You can request a free quote from our preferred insurance provider, eRenterPlan by visiting www.erenterplan.com.

  How do I pay the rent?

Rent is due on the 1st day of each month. We have an easy online payment system that allows you to pay any time of the day. You never have to worry about late fees if you opt into our automatic withdrawal option. You are also more than welcome to pay by check or money order in the office during regular business hours!

  Do you provide onsite maintenance? How do we report any maintenance related issues?

Yes, we do have onsite maintenance. Our online Resident Portal makes it easy to submit work requests online directly to our office team. Our Maintenance Team is great at quickly responding to our residents’ needs! You will know when your work is completed via email by receiving a satisfaction survey. We love to hear the opinions of our residents so that we may continually improve our services.

Great! We look forward to having you! We ask that the resident fills out an online application. It only takes 15-20 minutes! If you are signing with a guarantor, they may also complete their portion of the application at the same time. It’s that easy!
